The 10-Day Bush and Beach itinerary combines Kenya’s two signature experiences into a single, well-paced trip. The first half is a classic wildlife circuit through Lake Nakuru National Park, two full days in the Maasai Mara, and a relaxing stop at Lake Naivasha for a boat ride among hippos and birdlife.
From Nairobi, a one-way flight takes you to the coast for the second half of the trip: four nights at an all-inclusive beach resort in Mombasa, with free days to relax on white sand beaches, explore Fort Jesus and Mombasa’s Old Town, or add on excursions like snorkeling, dhow sailing, or a dolphin-spotting trip to Wasini Island. The return journey to Nairobi is made by the scenic SGR train. Travel throughout the safari portion is in a private 4×4 land cruiser, priced for groups of 2 to 6 travelers.
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at the airport, you'll meet your safari guide, who will warmly greet you and brief you on your adventure. From Nairobi, you'll drive directly to Lake Nakuru National Park, a journey of roughly 3–4 hours.
On arrival, you'll enjoy lunch and some rest before heading out on your first evening game drive. This park is famed for its black and white rhinos, flamingos, Rothschild's giraffes, and even the occasional tree-climbing lion.
Full-board lodge close to the park, well placed for both morning and evening game drives.
After breakfast, you'll depart for the world-renowned Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch and a rest before heading out for an evening game drive.
The Mara offers stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife, including the Big Five, cheetahs, and wildebeest herds — a genuinely different scale of safari experience from Lake Nakuru.

Today is a full day spent exploring the incredible biodiversity of the Maasai Mara. From sunrise to sunset, you'll drive across open savannahs, riverbanks, and acacia-dotted plains, tracking wildlife along the way.
Picnic meals are enjoyed out in the bush as part of the day, giving you maximum time in the reserve without needing to return to camp for lunch.
Overnight again at Mara Sweet Acacia.
After breakfast and a short optional game drive, you'll depart for Lake Naivasha. Nestled in the Rift Valley, Naivasha offers a peaceful contrast to the Mara's rugged wilderness.
On arrival, you'll enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a boat ride on the lake, where you can see hippos, giraffes, and abundant birdlife from the water.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll check out and prepare for the transfer to Nairobi's Wilson Airport, a journey of roughly 3 hours.
From Wilson Airport, a one-way flight takes you to the coast, where you'll be transferred to your beach resort in Mombasa for the second half of your trip.

A full day to enjoy the coast. Relax on the white sandy beaches, take a dip in the ocean, or explore Mombasa's Old Town, Fort Jesus, or the local markets.
With no set schedule for the day, this is genuinely yours to spend however suits you best — whether that's staying poolside or venturing out to explore the historic old town.
Overnight again at your Mombasa beach resort.
Today you can relax or opt for exciting excursions like snorkeling, dhow sailing, or visiting the Mombasa Marine National Park. For something different, explore Shimba Hills or take a trip to Wasini Island for dolphin spotting.
These excursions are optional and arranged at an additional cost, giving you flexibility to build your ideal coastal day.

Your last full day on the coast is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Savor the ocean views, enjoy local seafood, or simply relax under a palm tree.
This unhurried final beach day is a deliberate part of the itinerary, giving you a genuine chance to unwind before the journey back to Nairobi tomorrow.

After breakfast, you'll transfer to the SGR terminus for the scenic train journey back to Nairobi, arriving with time to relax, do some last-minute shopping, or enjoy a farewell dinner.
The SGR train offers a comfortable and scenic alternative to flying, passing through some of Kenya's varied landscapes on the way back to the capital.

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your international flight home.

The safari portion of this trip is in a private 4×4 land cruiser, used exclusively by your group for the first five days. The coastal half is arranged on an all-inclusive basis at your beach resort in Mombasa. Rates are priced per person based on 2–6 travelers. Rates vary by season — low season runs April to June, and peak season runs July to October. Prices quoted are net and exclude agent commission; accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking.
